I just wanted to post up a couple of pics of my mates Leon. Its not to everyones tastes, but personally.. I think its pretty nice!
I guess others must like it too, as its currently getting shot for FastCar magazine. The photographer is loving the moody shots of the derelict building in the background. That, mixed with a very modern looking car in a standard SEAT Kiwi green, makes for a really good contrast!

We are really struggling to find somewhere that the photographer agreed with. He loved the idea of abandoned buildings, but also likes the Middlesbrough College layout, and design.
The problem with the college design though, is its too busy, too much happening, and takes the glory away from the car in someways. Which obviously isn't what he wanted. The focal point has to be the car, and the background has to encourage you to look at it. I believe that is why people use derelict buildings a lot.
The contrast worked perfectly, and the pictures that the photographer was taking looked amazing. Obviously in HDR, bringing up all the light, and showing all the curves of the Leons design.
The colour works perfectly too in my opinion, which again, adds to the modern design. The colour is the Kiwi colour seen on the mk2 Ibiza Cupra/Cupra GTI's. Prone to fading, unless it is kept clean and polished.
Im excited to see the final review and pictures in FastCar, which should be there in the next couple of months. Definitely worth the buy, so I will keep an eye out for it.
Really happy for Daryl, I love this car, and its nice to know I helped in some ways, with some final touches. Well deserved
